About the Festival
This is the first red-color festival in Korea with a deep history, starting with its 1st festival in 2007 with Hanwoo (Korean beef) and apples as its central themes, and reaching its 19th edition in 2025. Especially from 2024, the festival has expanded its items beyond the existing agricultural specialties of Hanwoo and apples to Jangsu Red Food (Hanwoo, apples, Omija berries, tomatoes), and further extended the scope of the festival into processed products such as apple beer, apple soju, apple bread, and Omija liquor. By expanding its scope from Korea's first red-color festival to Korea's first red-food festival, it is elevating its status as a major cultural tourism festival of Korea.
