About the Festival
The 27th Yangpyeong Danwol Gorosoe Festival is a representative local festival held to promote the excellence of gorosoe (maple sap) produced in Danwol-myeon, Yangpyeong-gun, and to promote local specialties. The festival will be held for two days from March 21 to March 22, 2026, around Danwol Leports Park, hosted by the Yangpyeong Danwol Gorosoe Festival Promotion Committee. During the event, various performances and programs such as Gilnori (street parade), Sansinje (mountain god ritual), Gorosoe Gimbap Rolling event, singing contest, and Gorosoe Concert will take place. Additionally, the festival provides experience-oriented tourism content to visitors through the Gorosoe River Market and traditional play and experience programs, and contributes to revitalizing the local economy by linking the promotion and sale of local agricultural products.
