About the Festival
The 2026 Jeju Fire Festival will be held from March 9th to 14th, 2026, in the area of Saebyeol Oreum, Aewol-eup, Jeju City. From March 9th to 12th, pre-events such as wish paper writing, symbolic daljip (moon house) making, and an oreum docent program will be operated. From March 13th to 14th, the main events will take place, including a theme performance, cultural performances, experience programs, eco-friendly programs, and various other programs. Main Events: March 13th (Fri) ~ March 14th (Sat) - Opening Day March 13th (Fri): Lighting the flame of hope, Hope Light Oreum, official opening ceremony, enshrining the flame of hope, opening declaration, burning the wish daljip, opening celebration performance, etc. - Day of Fire March 14th (Sat): Provincial Pungmul (traditional Korean folk music and dance) parade, lighting the flame of hope, delivering messages of hope, hope torch parade, daljip ignition, setting fire of hope, finale performance, etc.
