Yeongdong Gotgam Festival

About the Festival

This event aims to promote the excellence of Yeongdong Gotgam (dried persimmons) and boost sales by exhibiting, promoting, and selling forest, agricultural, and special products, including Yeongdong Gotgam. Focusing on family tourists, it aims to be a stay-type festival by offering winter games and warm resting places. Various event programs will be operated, such as roasting chestnuts, sweet potatoes, garaetteok (rice cakes), and sausages, a baby club utilizing transparent domes, sales booths in conjunction with traditional markets, and an introduction to Yeongdong-gun's gastronomy.

1. Main Programs: Operation of Gotgam and agricultural specialty product sales stands, opening ceremony and celebratory performance, One-Heart Concert, children's performances 2. Ancillary Programs: Grill zone operation, baby club operation, Gotgam dessert cafe and rest area 3. Consumer Participation Programs: Making local specialty wagashi, making Gotgam tree cookies, making Gotgam cupcakes 4. Other: Photo exhibition of Yeongdong-gun's attractions, agricultural machinery exhibition, food truck entry, etc.
