About the Festival
*The food content at the festival venue below is based on the previous year's (2025) festival. The content for the 2026 festival is currently being updated.* The Gimje Horizon Festival, the only honorary representative cultural tourism festival designated by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism that is held with the theme of traditional agricultural culture, revolves around Gimje Byeokgolje, Korea's oldest and largest irrigation facility. Various attractions, including the Presidential National Nongak Contest held on the horizon stage, various agricultural cultural experience programs such as making rice in a traditional stove, catching grasshoppers, and rice harvesting, as well as traditional events like the Byeokgolje Twin Dragon Play Legend and the Ip-seok Tug-of-War for a Bountiful Harvest, can be directly participated in on-site.
