About the Festival

The 38th Yeoju Ceramics Festival is a festival presented by combining the symbolism of Yeoju, a historical and cultural city where King Sejong rests, and its thousand-year-old ceramic tradition, under the theme of 'The Time of Ceramics, Opened by Sejong and Crafted by Yeoju.' Centered around ceramics, Yeoju's representative cultural heritage, a variety of experiential programs and cultural content blending tradition and modernity will be operated. In particular, flagship programs reflecting Yeoju ceramics' identity, such as 'Traditional Pottery Making Performance' and 'Traditional Wood-fired Kiln Experience,' will be prepared. The festival will consist of various events including ceramic exhibitions and sales, experiential programs, and cultural performances, aiming to introduce Yeoju's ceramic culture and local tourism resources together.
