About the Festival

The Yeongdeungpo Yeouido Spring Flower Festival, which has been held since 2005, is a representative spring festival in Seoul, held every April along the Yeouiseo-ro Cherry Blossom Road and the Hangang Park area. Every year, when the warm spring air arrives, approximately 1,886 cherry trees and 80,000 spring flowers of 13 species, including azaleas, forsythias, and royal azaleas, bloom in full, adorning Yeouido brightly. During the Spring Flower Festival, a variety of programs and spaces line the Yeouiseo-ro Cherry Blossom Road. Diverse street arts, such as circus performances and street theater, unfold along the Spring Flower Garden, and photo zones are set up in various places where visitors can take pictures with the spring scenery as a backdrop. The Spring Flower Stage hosts various programs, including stage performances, DJing performances, and movie screenings, while Art Cube showcases works by local artists from Yeongdeungpo-gu. In addition, food and beverage booths feature not only local restaurants from Yeongdeungpo-gu but also various popular eateries from across the country, captivating visitors' palates.
