Jindo Mysterious Sea Road Festival

About the Festival

Jindo Mysterious Sea Road, National Scenic Spot No. 9, is a phenomenon where a sea road spanning approximately 2km between Hoedong-ri, Gogun-myeon, and Modori, Uisin-myeon, becomes visible with a width of 30-40m due to tidal differences when the water level lowers around February-March in the lunar calendar. Its mysteriousness is extraordinary. Every year during the festival period, numerous domestic and international tourists visit Jindo to witness this phenomenon and enjoy the miraculous moment for approximately one hour when the sea road is fully revealed.
