Geumsan World Ginseng Festival

About the Festival

The Geumsan Ginseng Festival is held annually in Geumsan, Chungcheongnam-do, the origin of Goryeo ginseng, boasting a history of over 1,500 years. Visitors can experience ginseng harvesting, a health experience center, and the International Ginseng Trade Fair where ginseng processed products can be purchased at low prices. Traditional ginseng culture experiences and future-oriented family content combining robots and artificial intelligence (AI) technology with ginseng are also prepared. The Geumsan Ginseng Festival has been selected as the nation's best festival by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism 10 times and designated as an honorary culture and tourism festival.
