About the Festival

The 3rd 2026 Yeongrangho Cherry Blossom Festival is a representative local spring festival held for two days from April 11 to 12, 2026, at the Yeongrangho Lake Grass Plaza and surrounding areas in Sokcho-si, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province. This event is set against the unique natural scenery where a tunnel of cherry blossoms in full bloom stretches along the Yeongrangho Lake walking trail in Sokcho. Key programs include walking along the 8km Yeongrangho Lake cherry blossom path, yoga in nature, and busking performances. Additionally, over 40 food stalls and flea markets will operate, promoting the revitalization of local content businesses through the participation of local small business owners. At night, a cherry blossom illuminated tunnel will be created, offering beautiful scenery both day and night, aiming to provide visitors with a perfect spring retreat from their daily lives.
