About the Festival
The '3rd Oncheoncheon Light Festival,' which will beautifully illuminate the winter of Dongnae-gu, Busan, will be held for 45 days from December 19, 2025 (Fri) to February 1, 2026 (Sun). This festival, themed 'Oncheoncheon Love Song (戀歌),' will showcase a variety of light sculptures along approximately 1.1km of the Oncheoncheon area. The light sculptures will be lit daily from 17:00 to 23:00, offering visitors a special night view. The festival is divided into six themed zones: 'Overture of Light,' 'Song of Seasons,' 'Fantasy,' 'Oncheoncheon Love Song,' 'Delicious Harmony,' and 'Song of Lanterns,' providing unique attractions aligned with traditional culture, seasonal themes, and the future. In addition to the light exhibition, various participatory programs are prepared for citizens to enjoy together. The lighting ceremony, marking the opening of the festival, will be held on December 19 (Fri) at 17:00 at Oncheoncheon in front of Suan Elementary School. Following this, for 13 days until December 31 (Wed), diverse programs such as artificial snow experience, busking performances, and media wish-writing will be operated at the Snowflake Plaza below Exit 4 of Dongnae Station. Also, a food truck zone will be operated around the Big Tree Rest Area, allowing visitors to enjoy various foods and add to the romance of the festival. Families, couples, and friends can create unforgettable winter night memories at Oncheoncheon.
