About the Festival
The International Seon Meditation Conference and Seon Meditation Festival, hosted by the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism, are held to promote the mental health of the public. Starting in 2024, this year marks its third edition. This year, under the theme of "[Seon Meditation in the AI Era]," it explores ways in which Seon meditation can help improve public mental health, and through the linked Seon Meditation Festival, it provides opportunities for the public to directly experience various fields of Seon meditation.

- Main Programs: Opening Ceremony / Seon Meditation Forum / International Conference / Closing Ceremony / 2026 Seon Meditation Festival 1. Opening Ceremony: Announcing the start of the 2026 Seon Meditation Project 2. Seon Meditation Forum: Theme (AI Era, Why Seon Meditation?) 3. International Conference: 2026/11/12 Theme (Seon Meditation in the AI Era) 4. Closing Ceremony: 2026/11/12 5. 2026 Seon Meditation Festival: - Korea's largest meditation festival where citizens can directly experience various fields of meditation such as walking meditation, eating meditation, sound meditation, and death meditation. - A meditation festival where citizens participate in meditation centers and major temple strongholds in 9 regions nationwide, with approximately 130,000 participants last year, offering various programs from traditional to modern meditation to help the mental health of all citizens.
