About the Festival

It is a representative garden culture festival held annually in Cheongju-si, Chungcheongbuk-do, offering a special event where one can experience nature and art simultaneously in the city center. At this festival, various themed gardens are created, each showcasing different charms, including citizen gardens jointly created by artists and citizens, invited gardens featuring professional artists, participation gardens creatively decorated by students, and diverse gardens nurtured by citizen gardeners. Additionally, gardening classes where visitors can directly participate and talk concerts where garden experts communicate with visitors are operated, enhancing understanding and interest in garden culture. Furthermore, a variety of performance content such as cultural and artistic performances, bubble shows, and magic shows, enjoyable for all ages, are harmoniously combined, establishing it as a complex festival that goes beyond simple exhibition to include experience, relaxation, and enjoyment.
