About the Festival

The Daedeok Water Light Festival, a representative festival of Daedeok-gu where the beautiful nature of Daecheongho Lake and the landscape of light harmonize, is a complex cultural tourism festival where visitors can enjoy various cultural programs amidst the special night view created by water and light. It was planned to create a fantastic light landscape in the area of Daecheongho Lake, a representative tourist destination in Daejeon, allowing visitors to experience the natural scenery during the day and the moving landscape created by light at night. During the festival, various performance programs such as a music festival featuring popular musicians, the Lumi Festa lighting ceremony, fringe stage performances, and Hyodo Concerts will be held.
