About the Festival

Bogoksangol Village, where the event is held, is home to the largest self-sustaining wild cherry blossom colony in Korea, with magnificent wild cherry blossoms covering a vast mountainside of approximately 10 million square meters. In addition, cornelian cherry trees, weigela, spiraea, azaleas, and ginger trees grow naturally, competing to bloom in this pollution-free, pristine area. Furthermore, charming nameless wildflowers bloom, making the trail from 'Boineyo-gil' to 'Jajinbaengi-gil' a pleasant walking path where you can have quiet conversations amidst the flowers.
