About the Festival
The Anseong Namsadang Baudeogi Pungmul Troupe's regular performance is Anseong City's representative cultural content, ongoing since 2003. In 2026, the Anseong City Namsadang Baudeogi Pungmul Troupe, representing Anseong City, will present its regular performance 'Gombaeng-i Teotda' under the subtitle 'Excitement of the Market, Shaking Gyeongbokgung Palace!'. This performance reinterprets the essence of Namsadang Nori's six acts with a modern flair. The performance takes place every Saturday and Sunday at 2 PM at the Anseong Namsadang Performance Hall, lasting approximately 90 minutes. It is full of diverse attractions, including lively Pungmul (traditional Korean music and dance) with taepyeongso and kkwaenggwari, Eo-reum (tightrope walking) featuring thrilling acrobatics and witty banter on a 3-meter high rope, Beona (plate spinning), and Salpan (tumbling).
