About the Festival
Hyunchungsa Moonlight Night Walk is a night cultural festival held against the backdrop of Hyunchungsa Shrine, imbued with the spirit of the great Admiral Yi Sun-sin. It is a special program where the historical significance of the space blends with modern light direction. This year, it will be held against the backdrop of a spring night instead of the usual autumn night, offering new nocturnal content in a softer and more vibrant seasonal atmosphere. Performance, exhibition, and hands-on programs unfold along the beautiful night scenery created with light, conveying Hyunchungsa's charm in a deeper way, different from the daytime, and offering visitors a unique opportunity to enjoy culture. Furthermore, through various experiential programs, it aims to create an open festival venue where people of all ages can participate, and to provide a meaningful night where history, culture, and light are in harmony.
