About the Festival
Held since 2022 and scheduled to run until December 31, 2026, the Gwangalli M (Marvelous) Drone Light Show's "M" stands for 'Marvelous,' meaning 'amazing' or 'wondrous.' The lights emitted by the drones harmonize with the night view of Busan's landmark Gwangandaegyo Bridge, offering wonder and mystery to visitors to Gwangalli. It is performed twice every Saturday evening (winter season: October-February, 7 PM & 9 PM / summer season: March-September, 8 PM & 10 PM) for about 12 minutes and can be viewed from anywhere on Gwangalli Beach. Various-scale drone shows are held, from regular performances featuring 1,000 drones every week to special events like New Year's countdown, Seollal (Lunar New Year), and Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving), featuring up to 2,500 drones. * Performance schedule may change depending on weather conditions.
