About the Festival
The 2026 Miryang National Heritage Night Walk is a nocturnal cultural heritage festival held centering on Yeongnamnu Pavilion, which harmonizes with the cliffs of Miryang River. This festival is organized around the theme "Miryang River, Connecting Citizens and Heritage," featuring eight "Night" programs: Night View, Night Road, Night History, Night Painting, Night Food, Night Market, Night Story, and Night Stay. The festival notably includes performances based on Ungcheon Arirang and a firework display set against the backdrop of Yeongnamnu Pavilion. Furthermore, the Miryang Arirang Traditional Market, a local artist art market, and a "Citizen's Bazaar" are operated, making it an event that promotes the revitalization of the local economy. Its purpose is to expand the participation of local residents and provide opportunities for cultural enjoyment through citizen-participation programs.
