About the Festival
A special night journey through national heritage unfolds in Iksan, a city where the brilliant history and culture of Baekje come alive. The 'Iksan Baekje National Heritage Night Tour' is a night national heritage festival where you can uniquely enjoy the beautiful national heritage at night, with the Wanggung-ri Historic Site, the former capital of King Mu of Baekje, and the Five-story Stone Pagoda of Wanggung-ri as its backdrop. Various programs such as performances, hands-on experiences, and exhibitions are held amidst the spring night of Baekje Palace, where moonlight and starlight descend, offering visitors unforgettable romance and inspiration. Furthermore, it is a representative national heritage night tour festival of Korea, having been selected as the best for three consecutive years in the National Heritage Night Tour project involving 47 local governments nationwide, and officially registered in the 'Hall of Fame' as a flagship brand project of the National Heritage Administration. Geumma-myeon Linkage - Expansion of event venue through linkage with Iksan World Heritage Center and Geumma Local Food - Revitalization of local commercial district through linkage with Geumma-myeon area 4. Gungdam (Palace Talk) - Lecture by expert instructor in national heritage (Choi Tae-sung) 5.
