About the Festival

Hwaseong Batnori Festival, a representative festival of Hwaseong City, is the largest marine cultural festival in the metropolitan area where visitors can experience yacht/boat rides. All experiences that can be enjoyed by boat from day to night are offered. From sailing yachts and powerboats to sea cable cars, there are various marine-themed experiential programs representing the Batnori Festival, such as the passionate dance performance 'Wind Emissary Dance Performance' by citizens set against the West Sea, the Cheonhaeyuramdan that traverses Jeonjeok Port and Jebudo Island, and the voyage of the Pungnyudan moving between land and sea. Additionally, popular singer performances, plogging, doksal (traditional fishing trap) experience, and non-motorized watercrafts, along with related and ancillary events, are prepared.

Main Programs - Boarding experience programs: Sailing yacht (day, night), powerboat, small cruise ship, luxury yacht, sea fishing experience, etc. - Wind Emissary Dance Performance: A dance competition by citizen performance teams recruited through a public contest, motivated by emissaries on the Silk Road trade route. - Voyage of the Pungnyudan: A street parade enjoyed on land. - Cheonhaeyuramdan: A combined program of cable car rides between Jebudo Island and Jeonjeok Port and boarding experiences. 2. Cultural Resource Linkage Programs - Doksal Experience: Traditional West Sea fishing trap fish catching experience. - Experiential programs such as making water leisure craft and marine waste miniatures. - Other ancillary programs. 3. Performance Programs - Popular singer performances and performances by the winning team of 'Find the Rising Star'. - Latin Music Dance Festival: A dance festival themed around Latin music and dance, featuring Latin DJs, Latin dance, salsa performance teams, and capoeira performance teams.
