About the Festival
*Festival schedule has been changed due to safety reasons. Experience winter leisure sports like smelt fishing on the ice in winter. Gwanghyewon Reservoir, where the Anseong Smelt Festival is held, is a typical valley-type Grade 1 water reservoir fed by the Charyeong Mountain Range's water source, boasting a total area of 180,000 pyeong and representing Anseong City, Gyeonggi Province. As a water source area with no pollutants, it boasts Grade 1 water, and the surrounding scenery is also beautiful.
