About the Festival

The Red Ginseng Festival is held every autumn in the northern area of Maisan Mountain in Jinan, which is Korea's only special zone for red ginseng. It is a popular festival where visitors can taste high-quality red ginseng that can be trusted and consumed, as well as various foods made with red ginseng. For children unfamiliar with red ginseng, there are fun red ginseng-themed programs prepared, such as red ginseng-related experiences, Jinan Red Ginseng Bingo!, Red Ginseng Power Zone, Red Ginseng BBQ, and Red Ginseng outdoor foot bath experience. In addition, there are plenty of attractions like traditional performances and trot festivals, and visitors can purchase reliable, high-quality red ginseng products certified by the Jinan County Mayor at a lower price than the market price.
