About the Festival
The Seokchon Lake Cherry Blossom Festival is held every spring at Seokchon Lake in Songpa-gu, Seoul. When over 1,000 Yoshino cherry trees along the lake are in full bloom, a spectacular cherry blossom tunnel is created. During the festival, various programs such as the Cherry Blossom Welcome Opening, busking performances, promotional booths, experience booths, flea markets, food trucks, and a Full Bloom Cherry Blossom Concert are operated. You can capture special moments at photo zones set up throughout the walking paths. It is a representative cherry blossom festival in Songpa-gu, Seoul, where you can make good memories with lovers, family, and friends by enjoying the bright cherry blossoms of spring during the day and the pure white cherry blossoms illuminated by night lights in the evening.
