About the Festival
The 27th Gamak Mountain Sunrise Festival will be held to welcome the Year of the Red Horse (Byeongo Year), wish for peace and well-being for the year, and bring blessings and hope to the residents by allowing them to make their wishes. On the first day of the new year, people will experience the thrilling moment of sunrise with family and neighbors, embrace the brightly rising hope in their hearts, and start the new year vigorously. Various side events are prepared, including pungmulpae (traditional Korean folk music group) performances, wishing gourd breaking, and tteokguk (rice cake soup) tasting.
